The Wedding Singer (1998)

They find each other instead. Smarmy, smarmy, smarmy.
Sorry folks but given a choice between a nice loser and a rich asshole,
just how many women pick the former in real life? Not very
many.
Adam Sandler plays Robby, the loveable loser who works as a wedding
singer while Drew Barrymore plays Julia, the confused woman who has
to decide between Robby and her YuppieScum fiancee. Of course, she
picks the nice guy. Smarmy and corny.
The references to the 1980s were funny but this movie was a bit
unbelievable. Unfortunately, this might be one of Sandler's better movies.
